I was saved in July 1978 just before turning 20 years old through the ministry of FBBC 's Teen Ministry. After attending college that year, I enrolled in the North Star Bible Institute and graduated in June 1988 with a Theology Degree. For the first 11 years of my salvation I worked in the Senior High and then in the Junior High Teen Ministry. During that time I taught a Single’s Bible study which eventually lead to my becoming the Single’s Pastor.
I was born and raised here in the Rochester area. I graduated from Charlotte High School while living in Greece, and our family now lives Parma. In October 1989 I married Jhan Clements from Spencerport. God has given us two daughters, one through adoption and the other through birth. I enjoy both playing and coaching sports. Between our family and the Singles ministry we keep quite busy.
As God moved I began working full time at FBBC as the Single’s Pastor in March 1990. That is where my heart and time have been since then, but God has added other ministries over the years. There are Bible teaching duties in North Star Bible Institute and Northstar Christian Academy. In 1992 we started Joshua’s Paintball Jungle in the Singles ministry, now maintained by various people in FBBC. In 1997 I oversaw planning and implementation for the Solid Rock Café, now called Café First in our new facility. In 1998 I began handling the Church Program Administrator duties to help facilitate our various ministries. God has continued to open new doors of ministry over the last several years working with local military units to provide Family Days for them at Grace and Truth SportsPark |
