Vince counts it a privilege that he was able to attend Northstar Christian Academy during his high school years. It was at that time in his life that he began to grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
Northstar was also where he met his wonderful wife. Vince was a junior and Kelly (Goodison) was a freshman when they started getting acquainted with one another. He says, Some people think Im not very intelligent, but I can always point to my choice of a wife and prove them wrong.
Vince invested 3 ½ years of his life with a team that traveled ministering in churches and schools. During this time, he and Kelly were married. The Lord later called their family to Michigan, where he served for five years as a Youth Pastor. This was a place for growth for Vince as a pastor.
In 1999, God called the Tumias back to Rochester, New York to serve as the pastor of Student Ministries at FBBC. He and Kelly have three wonderful daughters Katelyn, Aimee, and Alyssa. They find it a great privilege to serve at FBBC as a family. |
