David Yaussy, originally from West Virginia, came to Rochester to attend Roberts Wesleyan College. There David earned his Bachelor of Science in Music Education, and more importantly met his wife Michelle. David and Michelle have been working as volunteers in the FBBC music ministry since they graduated from college in 1994. In the fall of 1995, David became the vocal music instructor at Northstar Christian Academy, a position he held until the spring of 2004.
In the Fall of 2004 David was hired to be the full-time Director of Music & Worship at First Bible Baptist Church, a position for which he believes God had been preparing him since he first became a member of FBBC in 1994. Michelle, a kindergarten teacher at NCA, continues to serve by David’s side in the ministry.
David and Michelle live in Spencerport with their two children, David and Emma. |
