A Kansan by birth, Janet and her husband Gordon have made Rochester their home since 1976. Upon graduation from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, they moved to Rochester to be a part of First Bible Baptist Church.
Janet serves the church in the area of Special Projects. This includes a wide array of tasks; purchasing advertising, writing ads and press releases, supporting the staff in administrative ways, and organizing events such as Candidates’ Night and the Church Picnic are ways God uses her in ministry. She also serves as a Co-Leader for the One Heart Women’s Ministry.
The Ericksons were married May 29, 1970, and have three daughters: Sharon, Abigail (Miller) and Ellen (Jordan), all graduates of Northstar Christian Academy. Janet’s greatest enjoyment is in her family, especially her ten grandchildren. |
