At the Walk six years ago, CompassCare unveiled the first replicable medical model of service in New York, complete with the life transforming live picture power of ultrasound technology. CompassCare’s effectiveness rose to over 90%. A year later, we relocated to be more accessible to women having abortions. Our number of high-risk abortion-minded patients increased dramatically to the current level of 70% of the patients we see. Seven Pregnancy Resource Centers from across the nation have launched the CompassCare model and are beginning to see results similar to those at CompassCare. CompassCare’s 2008 VISION Walk and Family Festival is a wonderful way to put your commitment to women and children to work and have fun doing it! Each year, hundreds of children, teens and adults raise thousands of dollars. There will be food, games, prizes, live music, and the confidence that we are a significant part of what God is doing to “erase the need for abortion”. The proceeds of this year’s Walk for Vision Festival (an aggressive goal of $303,000) will enable CompassCare to reach 700 more women locally and to train more Pregnancy Resource Centers across the country to be 90% effective by using the CompassCare model. Join CompassCare in erasing the need for abortion in Rochester, Western New York and now across the nation. Walk registration begins at 9 AM on Saturday May 17th at Monroe Community College. For your VISION Walk Kit call Ron or Elaine Gousman @ 392-8904 or go online at www.WomensHealthNet.org. |
