This last month has been one of preparation – we have a lot coming up in the next two months. It seems everyone is busy working on something related to future conferences. In July, we have a Sunday School Teacher’s Conference as well as a Pastor Refresher Course. The PRC is a time we ask our pastors to come to the mission and sit under teaching/preaching for 4 days. It is designed to refresh and encourage as well as correct any areas of doctrine that might be slipping. We are expecting about 65-70 men to attend in July. The Sunday School conference should have between 100-150 teachers attending – this group is very excited to learn and know better how to serve the children God has given them to instruct. In August, we have a large general conference in which all of our churches are invited. Preliminary estimates suggest that more than 6,000+ people will be attending. We are excited as many co-labourers from America will be joining us to minister the Word as well as help in areas of medicine/dentistry. 

With all of this going on – it would be easy to neglect our primary responsibility of teaching, preaching, and reaching the lost. Bible Institute classes continue to move forward as we are now more than half way through the second term. Our evangelism teams strive each week to reach the lost with our theme this year as, “reaching the world by reaching our neighbor” taken from Acts 20:20-31. Although our team is small – the Lord used us to bring 31 adults to a place of repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ over the last few weeks.

5.     Ability to understand and speak Bemba
