Dear Fellow Laborers,

God is doing great things in the church He’s allowed us to start in Katlehong. Our first Sunday we had six souls saved out of the seven that attended. Since then we’ve had as many as thirty. All told there have been twenty-nine people saved. We are definitely in awe of the work God has done. We continue to have struggles in getting the building open and available, but God continues to work, so we are more than satisfied.

Yesterday the Deaf Church in Chloorkop hosted a soccer tournament for local Deaf teams. There were four teams, and we gave away prize money to the winners. I am proud to say that the team from Katlehong came in first place. (Though I had nothing to do with their success.) It was planned in order to give the Deaf community exposure to the Gospel. We were excited that over a hundred people were in attendance, with thirteen souls saved. We are planning another outreach like this in February. Praise God!

We are excited to share the wonderful news that our dear missionary friend Michael Radebaugh has been released on bail as of June 26th!! We praise God for the blessing of his parents being here when it happened. The reason he is not totally exonerated is that the trial had to be postponed. (Of course, welcome to Africa.) His new trial date is September 3rd. We are praying he will be released, as he is to be the best man in his brother’s wedding on September 6th.

We have many requests to share with you. Please continue to pray for the Deaf people in our church, that they would grow spiritually. We had several men share they want to fully dedicate their lives to the Lord. They may possibly join our Bible college.

Also please pray that the Jehovah’s Witness church would not have any influence on our Deaf people. They have a very strong presence in South Africa, and drive quite a way to pick up Deaf people and bring them to church. We are praying God would break the stronghold they have, and people would learn the truth from God’s Word

Next year we will be making plans to build dorms separate from the church building for the Bible College. Chris has the general plans drawn up and we will be meeting soon with an engineer to make final blueprints. Please pray God will lead in wisdom, and the best plans will be made so the building can be used in the best way.

We are thankful for your prayers and support. Without you it is impossible for us to do the work the Lord has called us to do. If you would like more details about what we’re doing, please check out our ministry blog at www.thetsoukalastimes.blogspot.com We update as often as we can. God bless you as you continue to serve Him. Feel free to drop us a line and chat. We love hearing from people back home.

Your Servants for Jesus’ Sake,
