July 12, 2008 PRAISE: 1 I started a Monday night ladies' English class with four of Courtney's former students who wanted to contiue studying. 2 I talked to two friends in the US for their birthdays this week. PRAYER: 1 Children's camp- July 23-24 2 VBS- July 28-31 Your Missionary to Japan, Wendy Stiles July 9, 2008 PRAISE: 1 The GRIT team did a lot of work projects around the church for us. 2 We had a fun BBQ on the 4th. PRAYER: 1 July 12- My Friend Kai (singles' group) 2 July 13- I teach Joy Club. 3 July 28-31- VBS Your missionary to Japan, Wendy Stiles July 2, 2008 PRAISE: 1 Eight unsaved people heard the Gospel at English Night Outreach on Saturday. 2 We had good fellowship at the singles' meeting yesterday. 3 The schoolbooks for next year have arrived. PRAYER: 1 Courtney returned to the US last Tuesday. She will be attending ABWE candidate classes in July and beginning pre-field ministry to return full time to Japan. 2 The GRIT team of American college students will be in Miyakonojo Thursday through Sunday doing projects and helping around the church. 3 Pray for the children who will attend VBS.
