Three times a year, we host a Get Acquainted Luncheon here at FBBC. The purpose is to allow those who are new attenders or members of the ministry to get to know our pastoral staff and their families in a relaxed setting with truly great food. Sometimes our guests may have just attended for the first time on the day of the event!
 We meet with Pastor Grace at 12:30 PM in the main auditorium, where he introduces the staff and talks briefly about FBBC. Then we move across the commons to the Cove, which by that time has been transformed by our G.A.L. Chef extraordinaire, Debbie Santillo and her volunteer staff into a lovely dining area. Wonderful gourmet meals are generously served with all of the amenities of the best restaurant, introductions are made along with new friendships, and friendly conversation accompanies the delicious food. Guests have the opportunity to ask questions they may have about any facet of the church. By 2:00 PM, everyone's going out the door with a smile. |
