We give thanks to God for you and for all your prayers for us and the people in Guatemala… to God be the Glory!

We thank God and all of you for the opportunities to minister here. Our home Bible studies, women’s ministries, and music school of discipleship are growing. We could really use some music/violin teachers to come and help even for just a little while.

This month we’ve been traveling with Brother John Rice preaching the Word of God and ministering with music to different churches. Meanwhile back at Nuevo Mana our faithful preacher boy Carlos Rivera does an excellent job caring for the ministries of the church. It has been a great month for printing tracts and delivering them to churches in Guatemala.

Crime is increasing and it is more difficult for our workers in the bus ministry. Criminals are going around saying they are picking up children for church and some children have disappeared (none from our church) and you can understand the fear of the parents. Our drivers have also been threatened and accused of taking money from the folks they pick up. The threats come from the public transportation groups.

Please pray for:

1. Resources for major remodeling projects for the church.

2. God’s will for the course of study for our young men called to ministry.

3. Wisdom for direction in our home Bible studies and women’s ministries.

4. Wisdom and the power of God for effective outreach to the new homes being built close to the church.

5. Wisdom for direction in our music school of discipleship that ministers to people from 7 different churches.

6. God’s will and opportunity for our concert schedule for our musicians for the remainder of this year. Our musicians are ministering in two events in September on the 7th and 13th.

7. Wisdom for effective outreach in the school in Loma Blanca 60-70 children ages 4-16 where we volunteer teaching English and Music.

8. Wisdom and protection for those who are involved in our bus ministry.

9. The recovery of $14,000 the church lost in a bank that closed in January 2007.
