STATESIDE FURLOUGH EXTENDED
ECONOMIC SITUATION AND HEALTH ISSUES NECESSITATE A LONGER FURLOUGH ECONOMIC CHANGE AFFECTING MISSIONS Several economic matters require us to extend our furlough here in the U.S. Our support for the orphans decreased by $500 a month recently and this means we are going to have to replace that. In addition, our monthly Social Security payments and our health insurance premiums went up. These factors ($500 monthly dip in orphan support plus higher taxes and health premiums) now contribute to a total loss of $1,100 a month in support. On top of all that, inflation in Cambodia is at 24%. We appreciate your faithfulness in support and prayers! Please try to increase your support to your missionaries.
CINDY’S HEALTHCindy continues to undergo her treatment for a “TB-like” bacterial problem in her lungs. This will be a 6 to 9 month treatment program. Thank you for your prayers! Our plan is to return to Cambodia as soon as God permits.
