Isn't it amazing how quickly time flies!  Last month's update was sent only to my e-mail recipients, as it had several pictures that were difficult to reproduce and send via "snail mail".  My computer had some problems, and I again lost several e-mail addresses.  If you know someone who usually gets my mailings, but hasn't in the last couple of months, encourage them to write me and I will re-add them to my contact list.

We experienced some beautiful weather for the fall season here in L'viv.  I just pulled out my winter coat, and the heat in the apartment buildings has finally been turned on.

I recently attended a Children's Evangelism Fellowship conference for the L'viv region of Ukraine, and was blessed to see so many Christians from the towns and villages in the area who are ministering to reach children with the gospel of Christ.  I finished my translation of the CEF story of Hudson Taylor and had the opportunity at this conference to present it to the director of materials publication in Ukraine.  The translation represents over a year and a half of translating, correcting, typing, and retyping, plus hours of patience and help from my teacher, Veronica.

The correspondence Bible study course is going well, and almost weekly someone sends in a request for enrollment.  Many students send in questions with their lessons, and it encourages me that they are searching for the truth.  Please pray that each student would open his heart to the Word of God and allow the Holy Spirit to work in his life.

I am once again using my teaching skills as I help the Bardwell children stay on track with their home school studies while their mother is in the states for a few weeks.  She is tending to some medical issues with her infant son that need special attention not available here in Ukraine.  Pray for Dan and the children, as well as Laurel and Benaiah, as the family is separated at this time.

Everyday life is still as exciting as ever, as I was pick pocketed this past month, and continue to deal with a bothersome nerve in my arm and neck.  God's grace and mercy are everlasting, and every situation is just one more opportunity to trust him and see his love and power in action.  Have a wonderful month, and don't fail to thank God for his wonderful works to the children of men.  God bless you.

Your fellowservant and missionary to Ukraine,

Denise Hutchison
