Dear Fellow Laborers-

Last month we hosted our fist Deaf Camp April 13-17. The weather was beautiful, and all twenty-eight campers really enjoyed themselves. Of course there are adjustments that need to be made, but overall it was great! We had four different times during the day where we focused on teaching and preaching from God’s Word, along with illustrative dramas. While no souls were saved at camp, many were encouraged, and cried the last day because they didn’t want to leave. We expect an even larger turnout next year.

The three guest speakers that came from America also preached in our churches during their stay. We hosted Kevin Clark, a Deaf evangelist from NC. He was a blessing! The people in our church really enjoyed seeing different styles of preaching from America, and it was good for the Americans to see the different areas where we minister. It’s not always nice and clean!

Right now we are on a break from college, in order to re-group from all the activities surrounding camp. Classes will start up again in June. This is a welcome time of refreshing, readjusting, and evaluating things. We would ask for prayer, as we would like to make some adjustments to our ministry work load. You can do a lot of things, but you can’t always do them all well.

We would like to have more time to focus on developing relationships with the people in our church. Several of them have expressed the desire to be discipled, and the way our schedule is now, we just don’t have the time to do it. Please pray God would lead us in the right direction of how to handle that.

This month we will be celebrating our one year church anniversary! We are excited about this, and have seen many good things happen in this past year. Over fifty people have given their lives to Christ, and our average attendance now is thirty-five. One third of our church people are faithful attenders, coming every week. The other two-thirds come twice a month, which is what they can afford.

We are also celebrating ten years of marriage this month on the fifteenth. God has surely blessed us with a wonderful family, and a strong marriage. We are happier today than we were in the beginning of our marriage. Praise the Lord for His faithfulness!

Please pray for:

1. Prince, our former ministry helper to be faithful to church and get involved more.
2. My parents’ health and salvation.
3. Our workload to be what the Lord would have us do.
4. Homeschooling to finish well. (Should be done the third week of June.)
5. Our new website to be up and running within the next month or so.
