July has been a month that will not soon be forgotten! Of course, the biggest news is that we found out Savannah is pregnant with our first child! We are both thrilled, excited, nervous, and rejoicing… all at the same time. Savannah originally was not feeling well but since has improved and is now at least able to eat some things.

We had two seminars this month that were both quite successful. We traveled the 8 hours to Mpika and taught a couple day seminar on the theme, “rise up and build” (Neh 2:18). The hosting church, Antioch Bible Church, seemed to receive the message and accept the challenge. I believe this church will be leading the way as they take a greater walk of faith. The second seminar was here at Kafulafuta. I invited 10 different Zambian pastors to teach/preach on different “men of God” from the Scripture. Each pastor was used of the Holy Spirit to really challenge these men to become Biblical “men of God”. Everyone left spiritually fed and having their cup over flowing! 

In between the conference we visited a couple local churches. We arrived at Maunda Bible Baptist church and after a long worship service the Lord blessed us with three souls that came to the saving knowledge of Christ. At Agape Bible Baptist, I preached a message from John 3:16 in which 10-12 came to the alter!

We also experienced some wake-up calls. We had a funeral for a woman that recently moved to the Kafulafuta area. She was in her mid thirties. Another pastor had his nine-month old boy die unexpectedly. As the Bible tells us, this life is but a vapour. Death certainly is common and there is no getting used to it.

• Souls to be saved during our Annual Bible Conference next month!
• Safety, protection, wisdom & unction for those coming to our conference in August

Savannah and I wish to express our gratitude towards so many of you that have encouraged us and really lifted us up in prayer. We don’t take lightly the responsibility God has given us.
