December 2009 Dear Pastor and friends, MERRY CHRISTMAS! Sue and I hope and pray that you all had a blessed Thanksgiving and that everyday is a day of Thanksgiving in your life, remembering that we are told in I Thessalonians 5:18 “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you”. As I sit here writing this letter, a verse in I John 3:17 keeps running through my mind “But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?” Each and every one of us knows someone who is hurting this Christmas season and could use a little edification. Why not reach out with the compassion of God and call someone to encourage them, provide a meal, sent a gift, give them a hug, or just let the world see Jesus Christ in you. Why not step out of your comfort zone! As Sue and I look back over the year 2009, we are so thankful for what God has done in our lives, for the many professions of faith we have seen, the lives that have been changed, for new friends, for our family, for the trials and tribulations, for letting us have a small part in His work, for all our faithful supporters, for taking care of our financial needs, for not letting us quit, and for all the prayers that have been given on our behalf. Thank you Lord! Prayer Request: - Sue’s health - Support for the ministry - Salvation of our grandchildren - Bobby Bonner as he recovers from knee surgery - Meetings to present the ministry - Health for Pastor Beam, Grace Baptist Church, Medina, NY - The ministries in Africa and souls to be saved around the world - The coming of Christ! Thank you for your continued faithful support of the ministry God has called us to. In Christ’s Service, Dennis and Sue Anderson |
