May God richly bless you all with a very Merry Christmas

The rainy season ended just before Vacation Bible School began and we had 178 kids come with 50 kids asking the Lord to save them. Marco Turriza and his family came from Mexico and did a wonderful job with the children. The parents of a couple kids talked to me after the event and explained they weren’t able to come Sunday because his father was the pastor of another church the next street over but their kids will be coming to Sunday School. The following Sunday they brought six kids for Sunday School.

Another blessing was the wedding of Jose and Guisela. Both of them faithfully minister in music at the church and in our outreach concerts.  We also thank God that Hector’s new bride has joined him in the bus ministry.

We received a call a couple weeks ago about a young lady dying with Aids. Cathy and Angelina went to visit her in what was basically a box frame built to cover her bed in a gravel pit. She told Cathy she was sorry for her sins and wanted forgiveness. After explaining salvation to her she prayed to ask Jesus to save her. Then the following Sunday morning she went home to be with the Lord.  

The Monday afternoon ladies’ Bible study and prayer meeting continues to grow. Through the outreach of this group 4 young people are coming to church now.
Christmas time brings great opportunity to present the gospel in song and preaching as this year we take the Academy students to three different churches.

Carlos is faithfully growing in the Lord and continuing in his studies in the Bible Institute. He and our young people have also planned two activities to invite other young people to. One of them is climbing an active volcano again. Pray for me.

Isaiah 7: 14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
