January 23, 2010 PRAISE: 1 Kiyoko agreed to start a growth Bible study with Paula and Tom Carr in February. 2 We finished the first semester of school; the kids did well on their exams. PRAYER: 1 We have a Joy Club hiking activity in Kirishima on Saturday. 2 I teach Joy Club on January 31. 3 I will be teaching girls' group devotions in February. 4 Pray for the young people in church to make commitments to be baptized. Also pray that their unsaved parents will give them permission. Your Missionary to Japan, Wendy Stiles January 15, 2010 PRAISE: 1 Five friends came to the My Friend Kai dinner on Saturday. We had a good time chatting and encouraging one another. 2 My Joy Club lesson went well Sunday. PRAYER: 1 Izumi was in bed the last three days with influenza. She's a bit better today. Pray that she will get her strength back and that the rest of us won't get sick. She is still trying to get a full time job too. 2 Pray for spiritual growth in the young people at church. Your Missionary to Japan, Wendy Stiles January 8, 2010 PRAISE: 1 I accomplished most of my TO DO list during Christmas break. 2 Five unsaved adults were at church Sunday. 3 We had a good first week back to school.
