January 23, 2010

PRAISE:
1 Kiyoko agreed to start a growth Bible study with Paula and Tom Carr in February.
2 We finished the first semester of school; the kids did well on their exams.
 
PRAYER:
1 We have a Joy Club hiking activity in Kirishima on Saturday.
2 I teach Joy Club on January 31.
3 I will be teaching girls' group devotions in February.
4 Pray for the young people in church to make commitments to be baptized.  Also pray that their unsaved parents will give them permission.

PRAISE:
1 Five friends came to the My Friend Kai dinner on Saturday. We had a good time chatting and encouraging one another.
2 My Joy Club lesson went well Sunday.
 
PRAYER:
1 Izumi was in bed the last three days with influenza.  She's a bit better today.  Pray that she will get her strength back and that the rest of us won't get sick.  She is still trying to get a full time job too.
2 Pray for spiritual growth in the young people at church.

PRAISE:
1 I accomplished most of my TO DO list during Christmas break.
2 Five unsaved adults were at church Sunday.
3 We had a good first week back to school.
 
PRAYER:
1 I teach Joy Club Sunday.
2 Girls' group resumes this week.
3 My students have exams the next two weeks.
