The Lord did a mighty work in my life while attending North Star Bible Institute. As father of four children, and desiring to serve the Lord, I needed a place where I could learn and they would understand my needs as a husband and a father. NSBI did that for me! The program fit my family well without compromising my need to learn God’s Word. Before attending, I looked at many other schools, they were fine, but they did not seem to stress the Bible and learning the Word of God. The thing that I loved about NSBI is that we had verse by verse study in all the major books and we were taught doctrines and life principles as well. The staff was amazing because the majority were graduates of NSBI and were all able ministers of the Gospel. They brought not only good sound teaching, but practical application with each class. This made the greatest impact on me as a Missionary and director of my own Bible Institute. The Lord truly used my time at NSBI so I could be a better servant for Him.

North Star Bible Institute is an excellent choice for anyone who is seeking an education that prepares an individual for full or part time ministry. It is a place in which the Biblical doctrines of the Bible are clearly taught and believed. The teachers are not only knowledgeable, but are filled with God’s wisdom and understanding. They make themselves available to the student, and always leave you with the feeling that they truly want to help you be all that God has called you to be. The degree program not only teaches the facts, but also provides terrific opportunities to serve in various ministries to help the student gain invaluable practical experience. I felt as prepared as I could have been when I was blessed with the opportunity to pastor a small church in Naples New York, and it was due in large part to the training I received at North Star Bible Institute.

I will be forever thankful to the Lord for leading me to North Star Bible Institute for my ministry training. There are many aspects of NSBI that made it an ideal place to train for the ministry. The instructors are all vastly experienced in the gospel ministry and invest themselves into their students. Because NSBI is part of a strong local church, NSBI has many opportunities for students to apply their training weekly through active participation in various ministries. The evening classes made it possible to carry a daytime job and then attend classes at night. The teaching and guidance I received from NSBI helped me to grow not only as a Christian, but it also benefited me as a husband and father. As a missionary to Italy, I am grateful for how North Star Bible Institute has prepared me to help fulfill the Great Commission for the glory of God.
