February 2008

Dear Pastor and Friends,

What a blessing and honor to be able to serve our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!

Sue and I are very aware of the scarf ices many of you are making to help finance the work of the Lord and would like to thank each of you for your prayers and financial support of the ministry God has called us to.

Since our last letter we have been in a number of churches in Florida, and I have had the pleasure of preaching in chapel here at Liberty Baptist Christian School. I believe God is really working in the hearts of the young people here.

The work in Africa is going well and we are praising the Lord that Kevin Pestke has arrived at the mission station to take a leadership role to give the Sara’s a break. The emphasis this year is to take the people there to another level of maturity and prepare them to start taking over the leadership roles of the mission. God has provided us with some very good men of God. Lord willing we will be able to use what has been done at Kafulafuta over the years to reach out further in reaching Africa for Christ.

The rainy season this year in Zambia has been very destructive destroying crops, homes, bridges and roads. Because of major flooding many villages have been cut off and many lives have been lost. Please pray for the people of Zambia.

We have a number of trips to Zambia taking place this year and we would ask you to pray for them. The first will be for the Resurrection Conferences from March 17th through the 25th. A team will be going over with Dr. Bonner. We are praying that many souls would come to the saving knowledge of the Lord. The second trip will be from July4th through July 15th. This trip will be headed up by Rev. Larry Waye and they will be teaching, doing some very needed repairs on one of the homes, and doing some preparation for the up coming Annual Bible Conference. The third trip is the 20th Anniversary Bible Conference/VBS from August 8th through the 21st. Our main speaker this year will be Dr. George Grace from First Bible Baptist Church which is our sending church and home of I AM Ministries. Lastly we have our Annual Bible Institute and Pastors Refresher Course from December 1st through the 6th with Pastor Lee Cadenhead.

Prayer request:
- health
- safety on the roads
- souls to be saved here and in Africa
- our son Bryan in Iraq
- sale of our motor home
- Michael Radebaugh – missionary in South Africa who has been falsely accused of a crime and presently in jail

Lastly we would like to leave you with scripture to try and encourage many of you that might be struggling in some area of your life.

I Thessalonians 4: 18 say “Wherefore comfort one another with these words”. These words are found in verses 13 through 17. “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord”. Amen!

In Christ’s Service,

Dennis and Sue Anderson
