SUMMARY:21 Days of Prayer and Fasting
DESCRIPTION:SIGN UP HERE\n  \nOur series in Romans has recently emphasized walking in the Spirit and not the flesh. If you remember\, we are our biggest problem\, and we desperately need God’s help every day.  As we begin a new year\, we believe a time of prayer and fasting is a great way to focus on God. Fasting is a practice that draws our focus back to the spiritual\, and allows God to teach us and shape us\, rather than depending on our flesh. \nWe’d love for our whole church to participate in our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting to begin 2026. We don’t expect anyone to fast for 21 days straight. We’d simply like everyone to take at least one day. This is a discipline we can all grow in. We’ll be sending out encouraging devos for the duration\, so sign up today to be part of it!

SUMMARY:Women's Life Groups
DESCRIPTION:Spring Women’s Life Groups are starting up soon! Check out all the information below. Life groups are a great way to learn more about God and His Word in a small group setting\, as well as develop friendships with other women in our church. We would love to have you join us! If you have any questions\, please reach out: womensministry@fbbc.info. \nThe studies are listed by start date. \nSign Up For A Life Group Here \nSTUDIES AVAILABLE: \nThe Best Yes by Lysa TerKeurst \nSynopsis: Are you tired of living with the stress of an overwhelmed schedule and aching with the sadness of an underwhelmed soul? Do you find yourself unable to say no even when you should? Are you stuck under the weight of endless demands and responsibilities? \nThere’s a big difference between saying yes to everyone\, and saying yes to God. If we take time to slow down and rise above the rush of the world’s endless demands\, we can rest assured that God’s wisdom will help us make decisions that will still be good tomorrow. Lysa has learned what it means to live out the purpose God has in store for you\, and demonstrates the incredible power of two words–yes and no–and the way that these simple\, daily decisions can shape the story of our lives. \nAuthor: Lysa TerKeurst\nLeaders: Jaime Summerlin & Lisa Campbell\nWhere: Greece\nStart Date: March 10\, 2025\nDay/Time/Length: Mondays | 6:30PM | 6 weeks\nCost: $11\nCapacity: 8 women \n_______________________ \nMy Story\, God’s Glory by Julie Tsoukalas \nSynopsis: We all have parts of our story that we fast forward through\, or wish we could delete when we talk to others. However\, seeing the pain of our past in the light of Christ’s work in our lives is encouraging and empowering! Every part of our story can bring glory to God. When we shy away from sharing how much God has changed us and what He’s saved us from\, we’re really robbing Him of the glory He is due. \nJoin us as we dig into the Scripture and learn how to overcome shame\, how you can make a big difference in the lives of others\, and how even our weaknesses can glorify God. You’ll also learn how to better share your story\, hear from other women of First Bible\, and get encouragement through prayer and fellowship. \nAuthor: Julie Tsoukalas\nLeaders: Julie Tsoukalas and Sia DeRoo\nWhere: Greece\nStart Date: March 13\, 2025\nDay/Time/Length: Thursdays | 7:00PM | 6 weeks\nCost: $10\nCapacity: 20 women \n_________________________ \nEvery Body Matters by Gary Thomas \nSynopsis: Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired? Do you feel run down physically\, emotionally\, and spiritually? What if exercise and properly feeding our bodies isn’t as much about physical health as it is about honoring the God who made us? \nIf we are going to be holy\, useful to the mater\, and prepared to do any good work\, we are going to have to let go of what we’ve always done\, and take better care of our bodies! Gather with other likeminded women for 9 weeks of learning what God’s Word says about this topic\, plus get in some time of exercise! Wear something comfy\, bring a water bottle & a willing mind\, and let’s go! \nAuthor: Gary Thomas\nLeader: Savannah Pestke\nWhere: Hilton\nStart Date: March 13\, 2025\nDay/Time/Length: Thursdays | 6:00PM | 9 weeks\nCost: $11\nCapacity: 20 women \n________________________ \nKeys to Freedom by Mercy Multiplied \nSynopsis: The Keys to Freedom study from Mercy Multiplied is for you! In this study\, believers will become equipped and empowered to live free and stay free- to be whole\, restored\, transformed\, and ready to impact our world with a message of hope. \nThis study will take you on an eight-part\, interactive journey with God to explore hearing His voice\, committing to and connecting with Christ\, renewing your mind\, choosing to forgive\, healing life’s hurts\, breaking generational patterns\, using your authority in Christ\, and maintaining life-long freedom. Join us to grow and learn with other women from First Bible. \nAuthor: Mercy Multiplied\nLeaders: Mikayla Lang & Rebecca Girard\nWhere: Hamlin\nStart Date: March 15\, 2025\nDay/Time/Length: Saturdays | 1:30PM | 8 weeks\nCost: $15\nCapacity: 8 women
