Q: Do I need to cancel, and how do I cancel my recurring giving that I already had setup in CCB?
A: Yes you will need to cancel recurring giving in CCB, or you may be double charged for certain donations. Click here for the instructions to cancel recurring giving in CCB. To help you with reminders, you may receive a weekly email until you migrate recurring giving to PushPay. If you are accidentally double charged, we are happy to refund any charges- just contact us if that happens. In a few weeks we will cancel all recurring giving in CCB even if you have not migrated giving to PushPay.
Q: Why does PushPay ask for my mobile number?
A: We take securing your financial account information very seriously. Authenticating your giving activity with an SMS text to your mobile number is more secure than a simple username and password. The only person who can authorize the use of your account on our giving system is you, because you need your phone accessible to give online- even when you use a computer to access your PushPay account.
Q: Can I make online contributions to multiple categories in one transaction?
A: Not at this time. We suggest using repeating gifts for designations to missionaries & regular (weekly/monthly) commitments, if that applies to you. Then use one-time gifts for tithes & offerings if they differ week to week, or other giving that occurs on a one-time basis.
Q: Will the contributions that I make online be recorded on my year-end statement?
A: Yes. A detailed statement of your contributions will be available for download near the end of January of the new year. Your giving history in PushPay will be entered into CCB. You can still track your giving history in CCB as you have in the past.
Q: How does the church direct the funds I designate?
A: We sincerely appreciate your financial support. However, the Board of Trustees reserves the right to redirect all funds to the area of ministry most needed. All designations shall be non-binding suggestions. No goods or services will be provided by the organization in return for any contribution.
Q: Can I give to someone or something online other than what is listed under your choices of funds?
A: No. At this time we do not have a place to do that online. You can still designate donations through a cash or check gift in our regular Sunday and Wednesday offerings, or by mail.
Q: How do I access my giving statement for my own financial records?
A: Please visit the Giving Statements page to access instructions on downloading your giving records.
Q: Do I incur any fees by using this service?
A: No, you do not. The church absorbs the fees for processing your transaction. If you use a credit card, the fees are between 2% and 3%, so you may wish to take this into account when making a contribution. Our current online giving system allows you to cover the fees by checking the box as you confirm your gift.
