Online Giving FAQs
Q: Can I make online contributions to multiple categories in one transaction?
A: Not at this time. We suggest using repeating gifts for designations to missionaries & regular (weekly/monthly) commitments (if that applies to you) and then one time gifts for tithes & offerings (if they differ week to week) or other “things” that come up on a one time basis.
Q: Will the contributions that I make online be recorded on my year-end statement?
A: Yes. A detailed statement of your contributions will be available for pickup near the end of January.
Q: How does the church direct the funds I designate?
A: We sincerely appreciate your financial support, however, the Board of Trustees reserves the right to redirect all funds to the area of ministry most needed. All designations shall be non-binding suggestions. No goods or services will be provided by the organization in return for any contribution.
Q: Why don’t you accept American Express?
A: American Express has additional fees associated with processing their credit cards and we have not subscribed to their service at this time.
Q: Can I give to someone or something other than what is listed under your choices of funds?
A: No. At this time we do not have a place to do that, but we are exploring our options because we know it would be of value to many.
Q: Do I incur any fees by using this service?
A: No you do not. The church absorbs the fees for processing your transaction. If you use a credit card, the fees are roughly 2% so you may wish to take this into account when making a contribution. If you use a checking account and routing number the church only incurs a fee of $0.45 per transaction and is not assessed a fee based on the percentage of the total amount transacted. If you do not want the church to incur any transaction fees then you should give in person or by mail in the form of a personal check or cash.
