Biblical Philosophy of Missions
The purpose of First Bible Baptist Church is to fulfill what is commonly referred to as the “Great Commission” given to us by our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:19-20.
Matthew 28:19-20
“Go ye, therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even to the end of the world. Amen.
We believe that we exist as a local church to evangelize the lost, disciple the saved, and to train up pastors and leaders to plant more local churches all around the world that will do the same. We not only send out our own missionaries, but also partner with other like-minded churches and missions organizations.
